Your stay in hospital

Admissions
When you arrive please go to the admissions office in the main entrance hall on level 2 (ground floor). Reception staff will check your personal details.

It will help if you can bring a relative or friend with you, to help you settle in the ward and take your outdoor clothing home.

You will need to bring the following information:

  • your admissions letter with you

  • your current address including postcode and telephone number.

  • the name, address and telephone number of your next of kin.

  • the name, address and telephone number of your family doctor (Daytime and evening telephone numbers if possible).

Ealing Hospital like all other healthcare providers collects information about the ethnic origin of patients. Giving us this data is entirely voluntary but it will help us provide a better service to meet the needs of the community.

All the information we receive will be used and treated in the strictest confidence.

You will then be directed to your ward where you will meet a nurse who will be responsible for co-ordinating your care throughout your stay.

Click on links under the top heading at the top of the page for useful information about 'Your stay in hospital'.

We hope that your stay will be as comfortable and easy as possible.
