Neurology

The neurology department at Ealing Hospital offers an outpatient-based service for the local population. In addition the neurologist also provides support to the other clinical teams in the hospital and is available for consultation on in-patients with neurological problems. The team is involved in developing acute stroke services in Ealing.

The neurology team

The neurology department has two consultants and a stroke unit with a dedicated stroke consultant and is supported by specialist nurses in stroke and epilepsy.


There is also a specialised rehabilitation team comprising of a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech and language therapist, dietician and psychologist.

 

The neurology team has access to beds and state-of-the-art diagnostic services at the Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust.
