Dermatology

The dermatology department is a small but very busy clinical area offering a variety of treatments and services. We take referrals from local general practitioners (GPs) and specialists within Ealing Hospital NHS Trust, as well as from other hospitals.

Services offered

• Main outpatient clinics

• Daily treatment area (nurse led)

• Patch-testing (allergy detection)

• Minor surgery (punch, excision and diagnostic biopsies)

• Phototherapy

• Nurse-led clinic (monitoring of systemic medication)

• Provision of iontophoresis for hyperhidrosis and cosmetic camouflage by the Red Cross

Consultants and other members of the medical team also treat patients at the Hammersmith Hospitals Trust where our patients will receive more specialist complex treatments.

Dermatology team

The specialist medical team is led by three consultant dermatologists with a nursing team, clinic supervisor and administration support.
