Overseas Nurses

To work in the UK all nurses, midwives and health visitors must register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. Practitioners have to renew their registration every three years. If you are trained outside EU, please contact NMC overseas registrations for further information and application forms:

The NMC may also require you to take an English language test. Currently the test used is IELTS, more information on the web site.
